New stuff at Skialpshop.cz

Just a few days ago I met our friends and partners from skialpshop.cz at Třinec city. All the stuff for upcoming season arrived a bit later than usual but it is more than interesting. Guys are not selling only gear for ski touring but more often for freeride as well.
A big news is that skialpshop.cz became a main distributor of HAGAN brand for Czech republic. Hagan is mainly orineted for ski touring but nowadays guys are trying to move more to freeride market. A new item in the portfolio is super light plastic-carbon bindings HAGAN Z01 ALL MOUNTAIN. Designers of this bindings had a suspicion that this will be also used for freeride and wide skis. So the breaks are wider for 115mm and DIN 4-12. Next nice feature is that you can mount a climbing irons on them. We have this binging already mounted on SCOTT Powd´Air. It is possible to buy a cheaper as black variation HAGAN Z02 WHITE/BLACK. The difference is DIN 3-10 and that the rider can be only 100kg
From the HAGAN portfolio you can choose a lot of skis primary suited for ski touring. It is reality that even those skis are becoming wider and wider. Lets choose for example HAGAN Daemon 1213 Tour/Freeride, with the side cut 124-93-114, radius 18 m, 177 cm long and rocker 350 mm which belongs to light freeride category.
The most interesting part of the webshop is the avalanche prevention. Skialpshop is long therm importer of the ARVA avalanche equipment for Czech republic. The ARVA avalanche transceivers are very popular for their reliability and easy usage. I am using the last year ARVA AXIS which is a product from ARVA and MAMMUT cooperation. It is based on MAMMUT but with new features. We will get back into this with a separate test. ARVA has a full avalanche equipment portfolio so check it out for more information.
The big advantage is that this producer has a big backpack portfolio. The RESCUER series has a perfect separation of the avalachnche equipment and casual things for riding inside the backpack. So you do not have to search inside the backpack for a shovel or probe. You are able to access it fast and easily. The next speciality are VARIO system backpacks. This is coll due to compatibility with ABS system. Last interesting backpack is PROTECTOR 22 which has a back protector integated inside the back side of the backpack. The back protector is full of special foam which hardens after the impact.
ARVA has prepared a lot of new backpack special designed for freeride like FREERIDER 12 and 20. The ultimate freeride backpack, specially designed to fitextremely close to your body to help you maintain perfectbalance while riding. The Freerider backpack series has aspecial pocket designed for your safety gear bag. The bagincluded is a special safety pouch designed for probes andshovels.Removable straps are safer, lighterFewer straps are a lighter and safer. Another part of the web shop is dedicated to climbing skins. You can buy prepared skins with variable lengths or just raw skins by meters. Skialpshop.cz is selling two main brands COLLTEX and CONTOUR.
Very interesting section are poles and telescopic poles. You can find some new gear models as well. For freerides there is a special edition of poles GIPRON FREERIDE, which is made from better aluminium and attached by wide disks. We have is here is our office and I am really looking forward to test it and write a review for you. The next model we had a chance to hold was GIPRON GRAND PARADIS. This mode was invented together by Gipron and Black Diamond a I have to admit that this is the future
