White Line filled up Lucerna cinema
On Monday, 15 October, took place a premiere of the long-awaited movie created by team around director Tomáš Galásek. The entire event were placed in Prague Lucerna cinema, which gave the whole event proper savor.
Start screening was announced
at 20:30, so I planned to arrive a little earlier with the fact that
I meet and talk with the actors. But after coming to cinema, I found
it will not be easy. The bar was completely crowded by people waiting
for the screening. So I somehow got inside and shook hands with a few
fellas and then they let go people into the hall. The upper floor was
filled immediately and for the less agile left major cinema space.
The hall was completely stacked in such a way that the producer
Martina Prášilová wittily remarked to the hall, so the people
would rather go downstairs. The top floor of the cinema would not
have to endure :).
After settling all incoming Martina
introduced the movie and all the actors. Moreover, I figured out that
the film's forerunner. The movie made by Veronica Göttlichová
"First Fish". The movie was animated film without words.
From my point of view I really liked it. But I was already excited
about the main movie of evening, so I didn't pay so much attention as
i should.
After a light appetizer on the screen began the main
course of evening. From the beginning it was clear that the essence
of a freeriding and a point of view at riding will be introduced by
each of the performers. Personally, I divided the film into 3
distinct views on riding. This division is purely subjective from my
point of view. The view represented by Marek Machacek and Jiri
Lausecker represented the view of experienced riders who give a calm
and self confidence into riding. Another view represented Hrstková
Simca, which brought to the movie the same dose of the
professionality and self confidence, but with a girlish grace. The
last view presented the guys from the group Status Normal (Lukáš
Bilko, Lukás Niemczyk, David Sztefek and Petr Milerski aka "The
pathologist Slavíček - Sláva"), who just take the riding as
it is, in other words punkstyle.
During the movie were
uncovered more and more stories of individual actors. There were
stories and footage from both the personal life and the riding. Each
of the actors during the movie gradually introduced his way which got
him to freeride and what lead to this decision. They were stories of
different people from different backgrounds who are connected with
one sport.
The top shots, moments of the film footage would
rank heliskiing with Marek Machacek and Simca Hrstková, trip to
Norway with Jirka Lauseckra and contrasts between Marek's and Jirka's
responsible point of view and Status Normal absentmindedness point of
view. These contrasts were included just exactly behind each other
and mostly provoked laughter in the cinema - mainly Slava's
notices.
I would like to thank everyone who participated in
this project. In my opinion guys created great movie which will be
long remembered.
