UPSIDE event is organized annually by the party around Freeskier.sk. Super action full of riding, barbecues, concerts and relaxing time in the mountains. you can read it in a short text from Peter "Slava" Milerski. You can see it in the photos, what were taken also by Slava.
Hey guys, although late, but still we bring you a small report from UPSIDE 2014. Thursday afternoon with Bilo and Paja we headed straight to the Kalameny. In The Kalameny spot we had classic grill party, beer o'clock and we went early to sleep, to be ready for Friday :).
Friday morning we arrived at the Hotel Liptov where should take place the event. Nobody there. So we bought lift tickets and went on the slope. Bilo has a little trouble finding his ticket, but after a while he had found the ticket. In that moment we met Monica Tatarková, who joined us. The first was warm-up on the slope and then we were heading right into the couloir. The fact that we had powder snow was something indescribable. Subsequently we were hiking trough School couloir, where we meet Michael Plichta with Forest skis. Thus we did several rides and headed back to hotel Liptov where the goulash was waiting, super music and kind a fun :). We went to bed early, to be ready for Saturday.
On Saturday we got up early, had breakfast, borrowed Forest skis for testing and went to the mountains. This time Brázdim grooves on Dereše where powder snow but it is not. Who wasn't scared enjoyed a super firn snow. After whole day riding we ended up on the Kamenka(the hut near the head peak) where we had a few drinks. Then we rode back on hotel Liptov where the real fun started. Everyone had a great time and some of the riders until the early morning hours.
On Sunday most of riders were chiling out and telling the stories from the event.
