Wiktor is my longtime friend, so this interview is very informal. About Wiktor many of you probably did not hear. It is better known as the Czech underground scene, his pictures or video, we were unable to see in any magazine or CZ video. It is rather unfortunate not to be at the right time in the right place. But when it succeeds, the result you can see by yourself on the photos. Race and collective action, it is not the right thing for Wiktor, preferably is holed up to Lysa hora in Beskydy, where he knows every corner. Also, because of it you could not hear about Wiktor. Wiktor attracted mainly to its fall in Slovenia, which we might mention in the discussion. Thanks to the new contract between Wiktor and K2 skis you will see the K2 brand and apparel SUB Industries on him this year.

Hi Viktor, could you somehow introduce yourself? How old are you, what are you riding on and how your are seeting yout bindig?

Hi, my name is Viktor Galuška, I am 23 years old and I am from little town Skalice. It is near town Frydek-Mistek. Second year I will ride the K2 skis with Marker bindings for big mountain I am usin obSETHs 189 cm with binding jester mounted 5 cm in the center of the skis, din adjust for 13. And for the woods and for mega powder I am using HellBenty 189 + jester mounted on the center, the 11th din

How you see your progression on skis till today? Why there is no news about you, no pohotos no articles?

So far I pushing what I can and will push even more. In skiing, I started three years on the hill behind the house, I went on progressively larger hills and when I was 14, I got alpine touring, and so it began a riding in the powder. With my dad, we drove over the Beskydy and sometimes we went to the Vratna ( Slovakia). Later, I began going with Mezo (my friend Michal Novosad), a lot of time we were building a bc kickers. We began to fly some acrobatics, backflips, 360s and more. I also tried snowpark, but long I did not enjoy it, I did not like the hard impact on landings. Then I realized that riding on competition Chopok Jasnaadrenalin ( Slovakia), so I went immediately issued the first year I was there, it was canceled due to bad weather. The following year, 2007, I think that I took the 9th place. Especially if I had met some guys from Petřvald and they are horrible punks. Since then I ski where it can and while it does not. Why it does not write about me is a mystery to me, but now it will be this interview on powderline. Pretty nice photos can be seen on 3limits.sk. otherwise it is as you've said too about being at the right time in the right place.

Last season you have got injured several times, could you somehow give us a comment on this particular http://24ur.com/bin/tv/?media_id=60262951

Injuries are unfortunately a part of thos sport and it is hard to avoid them. Fortunately, it still nothing serious happened. In February, I broke my arm during jibing night, so I had to ride without poles. And then the fall in Slovenia (see above). This has surprisingly done without any consequences, even it did not look good from the beginning. After the impact, I cough up quite a lot of blood, so I was rather taken to the hospital where the doctor asked me to back pain, but it did not hurt me at all. It turned out that I had brake a vertebra without my knowing it. This happened probably at the beginning of the season in the Vratna, when I made a cliff backflip and did not land really well.

Next season I coming up, how are your plans?

Mainly ride a pow. Just looking for a places where is a deep pow and simly go there. Yes, and keep in touch with photographers to make some good shots.

How you see the chzech freeride scene. Are you aware of this or you do not care about?

It goes forward as everywhere. Although I not really focused on, but we live in a small country where almost every freerider knows each other, since they are nearly all from Moravia. So I think I have a decent overview. I think that there are a lot of riders in Czech, who can compare with the rest of the Europe.

Who are you riding with mostly in powder?

Depends on where I am currently riding.   When I am in the Beskydy, I ride the most with Michal Krna and at Vratna with Wlado (www.3limits.sk). I ride alone a lot too, because people around me don’t got too much time to ride as I do. And I ride a lot of with my Mom and Dad. I still have many to learn from them.

Any favourite locations?

Reka ( Beskydy Mountains, Czech), Vratna, Chopok ( Slovakia). It is near and it is always good to be there.

Have you got any freeride idol? Either form skiing or generaly, e.g. Borat….

No I havent got any particular idol. I am trying to take what I want from many skiers. For example backflips form Seth Morrison and the line choosing line form Kaj Zackrisson.
