This project started more than 4 years ago during the team has focused on the development and specification of the each model. Ymli selected as a partner for its production Czech company Sporten , which has more than 100 years of tradition in ski production. Not so many people know about the quality of this Czech company that is capable to cover all the production processes and technologies. One of the proof or let’s references can be making skis for brands such as Rossignoll and Zag. Thanks to this cooperates’ project Ymli can get the most modern technologies such as nano surfaces, etc. The portfolio of the brand focuses mainly on freeride and All mountain model with width under the boot 100mm. Myth park model is the only model for P&P for now, but at this time we can reveal that we work and developing other models for this requirements. This is one of the reasons why Ymli is looking for new freeski team in these days.

Ymli now is preparing for the upcoming season and intensively working on new portfolio which will be presented at ISPO 2014 in Munich.

Before upcoming winter we have prepared for you a small teaser from past two seasons. Before you play this video or for those who already seen that, I would like to describe a little bit how this videos was created as filming of freeriding in case of fresh  dumped 30cm  pow is sometimes also dropping all filmmaking equipment off and have that line instead of rider who you should shoot actually. Of course, applies to riders shooting riders and not for dedicated filmmakers, which you incidentally you will not find in the movies.

Shooting at locations at Slovenia, Austria and Slovakia, and if you remember well the snow conditions were not so bad. Even if you had enough snow you still do not win. Lighting conditions must be ok, line must be ok, camera ready, and not least the rider who got to go must stomp it if possible, otherwise the cycle repeats. At the end of the day, when you have more than 1 hour record and 1min and usable - you have won. When filming freeride one more important thing is needed, and that "the cameraman rider" who is able to get into those conditions and make the shoot, if possible on the first try. If you put this all together into and do post production, there will be a video where you may have experienced a hard time but also memories that will give you a different perspective on the situation than photos.
