Premieres in Prague and Ostrava
Excitement, adrenalin and freedom... All together is making very extra ordinary experience. The line which they leave behind them is showing the line of their lifes. The made the line on the virgin face of the mountain.
New Czech freeride document T he White L ine from the the Alternative.NOW is showing together the lives of selected Czech riders, traces their different nature. But the same approach to the mountains and shows one common passion: freedom and fresh powder. Each of them is always ready to look for various ways and means to get to the top of the mountain again to return.
The shooting took place in a total of 28 different locations - the Czech Republic , Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Austria, Switzerland, France, Sweden and Norway. And although intense filming began in 2010, its origins date back about two years on ...
Director and cinematographer Tomáš Galásek discovered freeriding about five years ago. He was trying for one season to get oriented between riders and began to select among them people with whom one would like to make a film. To mark the occasion with them a couple of shots filmed with the fact that at that time he knew that in the future he is going to use the shots. The shooting is then ignited in the fall of 2010. The film was originally planned to be completed the same year, but the weather was not good in Europe, so he had to move to the next year ... This year White Line finally sees the daylight.
The White Line movie was made for a simple reason. Show people something more than, than movie packed with riding, amazing cliff jumps and falls - reveal background freeriding, to show people who stand on skis and acquaint viewers with their life stories.
The movie will present riders like Hrstková Simona, Marek Macháček, and young Jirka Lausecker freeride enthusiasts, aka Status Normal (Milerski Petr, Lukáš Bilko, Lukáš Niemczyk, David Sztefek).
The movie White Line will be on 15 October 2012 from 20:30 at the cinema Lucerna in Prague. The second premiere is scheduled for early November in the Atlantic Club in Ostrava. At the same time right after the premiere of the film goes on winter sports film festival, with which we will travel a total of 100 cities in the Czech Republic.
