K2 company holds every year on the end of the season K2 camp for your distributors, riders and sellers. The place of performance was every year Mt. Baker, USA. This year it was changed to Ifen / Kleiwalsertalu in German-Austria border (15 km far away from Oberstdorf). From the Czech republic went a group of 14 persons. Snowboarders were Ondra Bauer, Petr Marcik (SNB), freeskiers Robin Holub, Dominik Brozek and Pepe Kalensky, which is new support of freestyle team.

But back to camp. It proceed from Sunday (end of the ski season in Ifen) to Wednesday, so the lifts worked only for 250 capers. We can made a lot of competitions like teambuilding style. Prizes were very good, full tilt boots, adio shoes, apparel and bags from K2 ..., the first team won tranportation and K2 KAMP 2011. In the evening were a lot of parties, in rocker style and so. Sleeping was in three big tents. Problem was only first night, when heating stopped at 4 a.m.

For riding was build extra mini snowpark on the bottom of resort. On the top was enough snow round the Ifen mountain. (2000 m n.m.). The snow was spring, so icy in the morning and wet afternoon. We hiked to the peak of Ifen Mountan (with a few meters of climbing with ski boots) and rode to the second side of the mountain. It was good, but on the bottom was not enough snow. When it´s powder snow condition, is possible to do there some good spots.

We tested ski models for season 2010/2011. Factory series was completely redesign and all models have larger rocker. I do not know proportions, but I think, that Hell Bent and obSETHed fill out. Positives of the larger rocker I cannot value to on the icy and firn snow.

Maybe skis turn little bit more. But in powder it will be really good. Backside series has a few small changes and is nicer. But for me is the nicest Hell Bent. For testing was prototype of Pontoon model for season 2012 too. Other top, bottom end and proportion. I was firts time on this type of action/presentation. But hope that not last time. After the camp I think, that the policy of K2 company is doing skis and snowboards for poeople for who is riding more than sport.
