Vratna valley resort is personally for me a home resort  and in winter like this one is really great to have it handy. This winter season was and still is truly unique. Enormous snow conditions attracts countless of riders to this renowned resort. In some days there was almost hour queue line for tickets. Now when recall and go back into the past and think of my early days in this resort with umbrella lift, I have to admit that its really evidence of progression in this sport I must say.

Progress of the ski resort which began operate the lift during the week thus fully use snow conditions. Personally, it happened to me that sometimes believing information about lift operation of the information center. Although if you still continue on your way to Vratna it could it deters many others and if they unexpectedly start the lift it’s a real win.Such day I'll try to describe. It was a Saturday, so I knew that the SKI centre will want to go. Pre-arranging with a bunch sound clear, morning call to Info Center and decide accordingly. Do not leave anything to chance and go blind, from my home is about 100 km away. During the way I get informed that the ski cabin will not operate. Most of friend with I was agreed gave it up.

Stopping in Jablunkov heaving a breakfast and wonder what to do, there was no another choice, after 70 km turn around and head it home. After about 10 I got call from friends, which also were not afraid and a was little before me that the SKI Centre will operate on 50 percent and said it looks promising. So I turn and I'm heading back on the Ski center Vratna. It was good decision to go , after I reach button station they run cabin for cca 15  freeriders, the strength of wind  does not full fill forecast I just want to recall that last year I came to the center about 5 times and nothing has been held. I think it's more than wind speed, change of center approach.

What I would like to mention Vratná Dolina -is the community, conditions sometimes may not be ideal, but when you meet a bunch of people who have set of life values towards freeriding and the mountains, the day is always unique.
