I enjoy the memories for the beginning of this year, I can’t say that different :) What could be better than go riding with a crew of nice people, drink a bottle of wine and around ten o‘clock in the evening search for an accommodation in completety full Samnaun and surrounding areas :)

Even this I could describe our trip to Switzerland... We set off in group of Simča Hrstková, Tomáš Galásek, Lukáš Bilko and Me (not my second I :) and the plan was to shoot Simča’s part in upcoming film White Line. It came out well only in part but still it worth it!

The leaving was typical to Galasek’s style mañana.. So intead of at lunch we left Prag around four in the morning and yet we managed with Simča to have luxury lunch in fast-food, where come every American from... but who could resist :) Shopping in Plzeň and we can finally set off. When we arrived, we stopped in a village called Pfuns, which still belongs to Austria and we started the chain of searching for accommodation. In the end we made it and some nice aunt offered to us accommodation with breakfast for 20e, don’t you take it!

In the morning we woke up with a vision of clear sky and nice day what was also fulfilled. Samnaun greeted us with blue sky and pleasant snow. Although we had to find the snow, but it didn’t escape us. After first short rides, actually all of them belonged to the shoter ones, next they we obtained some longer couloirs and due the ruining of weather we went towards Engelberg and Luzerne...

Engelberg and the Šaman greeted us with open arms but for us it was only a short stop before nice day in Luzerne. Luzern was the next stop by shooting of Simča’s part in the White Line video, because she studied there and spent there a year of her student life.

We said Luzerne goodbye and the followed our second stop for riding, Les Diablerets. I won’t tell anything about, how looked like the apartment and everyday evening’s wine seances, but the Fondue!!! That was delicious :) Of course I can not forget about Galásek’s and Lukáš’s hamburgers, hats off guys, top of culinary arts :)

We spent there 4 days, but the weather was good only for 2. First day we rided up on the glacier, because the downhills, that are ordinary passable at the beginning of January were impassable. As we all know, the snow doesn’t want us this year. But still there were created nice shots and what is important – without any injuries :) Following two months are marked by the wind, warm and fog, thanks to that we couldn’t see anything and we basically can not ride. But still at least we tried on part of the resort, in which takes you up an old school eg, where you have to be locked in, may the door will not open :)

Last day we managed a few shots and then came the desired snowing, although too late for us... But the nature is our lord and I hope, that also the Feather Fairy will become wise and will start snowing, may we can say that this season worth it :)
