Two weeks ago began to snow in Czech and Slovak mountains. And it was snowing very hard. It was just amazing how much snow torere were in a several days. About 80 cm. The informations from Vratna Valley was really interesting. We saw on the pictures very big avalanches in a forests and we were amazed and scrared.
We got an information that the cabin to Chleb is not in service due to some technical services.
A miracle, we found on the website of Vratna the information that it will be in service on Thursday. After considerable experience, I went a little later in the morning after what had just read about a death in avalache. Morning I was checking the website and I could see shaped piste, so we went. We're taking Mojca way and we go a little direction Slovakian rally.
After the huuuge queue right in front the tram we were happy at we went up to get some fresh powder. The first line under the cabin was not a good choice. Not a space there for any free line. So we went to couloirs under the Hromove. We found there amazing powder. So deep and sooo fresh. Nobody got understand how much snow felt in one night.
After four rounds we went for a beer and then we went to other side of the cabin to couloirs and forests. The last runs were a bit wet. Snow was becoming realy wet in the lower slopes and avalanche Langer becoming whorse. So we end your GREAT LAST SLOVAKIAN POWDER DAY.
