The night of the 30th January 2010 was started in Janske Lazne one of the biggest skoalp race in the Czech Republic -  Night of the seal skins Alpine Pro 2010th.  There were a rekord of 216 competitors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. The race is part of the Central European Cup 2010, BERGANS Czech skialp Cup in 2010  is also the qualifying race for this year's World Cup skialpinismu in Andorra.



Last saturday in January after 17p.m.Major of  JanskéLazně Vaclav Nemec started  eighth year of the largest skialpinistického race, which runs in the Czech Republic. A race long 23.3 kilometers with an elevation of about 1 800 m (from the square in Janské Lazně  at Black mountain in Pec pod Sněžkou, at Brown Hill, back to Pec p. Sn. on Javor, downhill  to Javořího Dolu and finally through Černou Horu back  to Janske Lazně. At the start was 77 competitors, the fastest Peter Svätojanský in the fastest time of 2:12:18 pm. Fastest woman on trail A was also Slovak Lenka Hiklová with time 2:56:27 PM. On the shorter route (18.1 km with an elevation of 1 100 m, only form Černa Hora racers descended directly into Javořího Dolu  ) there was 139 skiers. Fastest man on the B line was Cech Pavel Janecek with time 1:46:27 am, the fastest junior woman Simona Triznova from Slovakia 2:01:09 PM.

Race Night seal skins Alpine Pro 2010 is one of the three races of the Central European Cup remaining two are held in Zakopane, Poland and Mlynické valley on the Slovak side of the High Tatras.It is also the only Czech qualifications in the February MS skialp, which is prepared in Andorra.This year's Night of seal skins Alpine for 2010 prepared by the organizer of the first year of Pec pod Sněžkou alpine touring.

This year it ran for variable weather conditions, in which thick dumping  alternating brightsky. Due to the new snow is expected final times longer compared to previous years race. Because it's a night race, all participants must use lighted headlamps, which makes the race very difficult, though not lead to extreme terrain. The mandatory equipment in A  track was  an helmet, avalanche shovel, climbing irons, spare clothes and plenty of fluids. The dramatic moment occurred  just before  the race when a bus with Prague plates blocked street about 100 meters before the start of just 3 minutes before the starting shot.
